14th World Choir Festival on Musical & Competition

A wonderful Festival that enchanted
This year's World Choir Musical Festival & Competition, which took place from 9 to 11 May, 2025, in Thessaloniki, was a complete success, with excellent participation and an impressive artistic level. This year's event was a benchmark, both for the diversity of the choral ensembles and for the high quality of the performances.
- Participants: 15 choirs and musical ensembles from Greece, the United States of America, Poland, Slovakia, Serbia, Kosovo,
Estonia and Syria.

- “Emmelia” Choir of 18th Junior and Senior High School of Athens, GREECE
- “Siparantum” Choir, KOSOVO
- Choral Workshop of the Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos in Kardia, GREECE
- "Bella Musica" Bela Crkva, SERBIA
- Brigham Young University Singers, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
- The Girls Youth Choir Iuventus Paedagogica in Levoča, SLOVAKIA
- Youth Mixed Choir of the State Music School Warsaw, POLAND
- "Urjwan" Choir from the city of Tartus, SYRIA
- Women's Choir of Delta Municipality "Harmonistes", GREECE
- Music and Dancing Group New Choir of Lefkada 1964, GREECE
- Choir “Logos and Melos” of the Union and Institution of “Panagia Soumela”, GREECE
- Choir of the Cultural Music Association of Kilkis, GREECE
- “Thermaïkos” Choir of the M.G. Association of railway workers, GREECE
- Choir of the Municipal Conservatory of Rhodes, GREECE
- Repertoire genre: Varied, from traditional and art to classical, contemporary and musicals.
- Audience: 1000 spectators at each concert.
- Locations: The Festival was held in three venues : Festival Concerts in the Ceremonial Hall of the Aristotle University, the
Official Opening Ceremony in the Municipal Garden Theatre and the University's outdoor area.
- High artistic level: The quality of the performances exceeded all expectations, with many ensembles impressing with their
technical excellence, expressiveness and stage presence.
- International appeal: The participation of choirs from other countries reinforced the international character of the event.
We would like to thank all the participants, the members of the International Jury, the artistic directors, the volunteers and the sponsors who supported the festival. A special mention deserves to the music-loving audience of the Festival that embraced and continues to embrace the organization and enhanced, as always, the atmosphere with its warm presence.
The success of this year's Festival fills us with optimism and enthusiasm for the future. Actions are already being planned for the next edition, with the aim of further enhancing the experience for this cultural institution of the city.
